My Master Don and his Senior student Ming brought us to there for practice sword purchase. The owner is very friendly and talkative and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the sword 2.2 saku is perfect in length but too heavy for me.

When I resided in Baltimore in the 1990s through 2000 are used to religiously shoped at Kiyota martial art supply Some days I would just go down to the store and look at the inventory on my days off, which was 30 minutes from my home, but Mr. Kiyota was always inviting and talkative genuinely a nice person to speak with. After relocating to another state and finding a new martial arts club, I searched for a store similar to Kiyota for supplies and couldn’t find anything which is the case almost everywhere nowadays most things are purchased online So recently, I was looking through some old books I had purchased for and found a receipt from 1996 I decided to see if Kiyota was still operating in sure enough he is so I decided to reach out for some new Judo Gi’s And spoke with Mr Kiyota, it was great reminiscing, and he is still is fair and great to work with I highly recommend Kiyota martial art supplies!

A hidden gem for martial arts practioners looking for uniforms or training weapons

Kiyota has supplies for everyone even the Martial Arts professional. And with his first hand experience of the Martial Arts he is a stand alone source of excellence. There are dated supplies that can't readily found anymore and once there are gone there gone. There are even authentic VHS tapes. This shop has it all..... while inventory last. Every time I walk in I always notice something I didn't notice before. If you are an instructor you'll be plesently impressed and if you're currently under a know-instructor you'll have no supply issue in this store. So if you want the best top quality authentic merchandise then this is your One-Stop shop.

I have come to the shop multiple times over the last few years and there is always some of interest to be found within the realm of martial arts or general conversation with the own. I've never left empty handed and always found what I was looking for on visits. I typically coke for two reasons; one being good quality equipment that will last me a long time and two for the conversations I have there. Please come by the shop and see for yourself. Be warned, there isn't much room to move around as there is a lot in his small shop.
