I’ve had the privilege of knowing one of the owners of Kogen Dojo for the past couple of years, and I can honestly say they are doing amazing things for the Muay Thai community. From hosting seminars and smokers to supporting MDL events, they’ve shown tremendous dedication to the growth of the sport and the people involved in it. On top of that, they’ve consistently supported me and TAG Muay Thai, which speaks volumes about their character and commitment to building community, not just their own gym. It’s rare to find people who balance high-level training with genuine support for others, and Kogen Dojo does exactly that. If you’re looking for a place where tradition, growth, and community come together, I can’t recommend Kogen Dojo enough.

Man, I can’t say enough great things about this place! From the moment you walk in, you feel the positive energy. They have a designated space for young kids, which is a game-changer for moms wanting to train. The supportive staff does an amazing job of wrangling the kids, allowing parents to focus on their workouts without worry. The women’s team here is something special! It’s a welcoming environment where ladies can confidently train together, and the coed classes are equally fantastic. Everyone is encouraged to grow, learn, and push their limits. If you’re looking for a family-friendly gym with a solid program, I definitely recommend training here! It’s a place where fitness meets community, and you can truly thrive.

My 12 year old is a Muy Thai student at Kogen Dojo and we love it! He was hesitant about doing any martial art until he sat in on a free class at Kogen. Immediately after the class he told us to sign him up. It’s been six months and he has become so much more confident. The coaches listen and treat the kids and parents with respect. Highly recommend Kogen!

I was in the area and dropped in for a bjj class at Kogen. Tommie was super informative and helpful in getting me ready for the class. Hands down the friendliest gym I’ve ever been to! Everyone was super nice and welcoming. Rob has a great relationship with his students and made me feel right at home. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get into the sport or just looking to visit. I’ll be back!
