New Wave Martial Arts Perry Hall

I found New Wave on the internet and noticed the great reviews. At that time I was looking for my son a place for after-school care and a place where he can develop physically with more discipline as he develop more skills in marital arts. My son previously was in Martial Arts in GA and since we all experienced covid and amongst us relocating I knew he really missed having that apart of his life. I called and Master Rick did everything in his power to add my son into his program. I mean really gave it his all even changed his pickup schedule as my son was the only child coming from his school after school. This place is not just Martial Arts you are gaining a bonus family ❤ here. The entire family works so hard to accommodate even sometimes at their own detriment, your not going to find a more dedicated, safe, honest place like New Wave. I could tell you soooo many stores as to when they have cared and develop more skills for my son you would be reading forever lol. The family even went through a traumatic health concern and still did not abandon their clients and kept the doors open. I am forever thankful to them they are Family

It has been since joining the New Wave family, I call them family because that is exactly how you are treated when you walk through the door. The master’s are well learned, respectful, and attuned to each child’s needs. We wanted to enroll our grandson in a program that would help him gain strength and focus and we got so much more. Not only did our grandson learn he grew in strength and maturity. He made friends, he studied, worked hard and earned his black belt.New Wave is open to the needs of its students and to the public. They offer many options to accommodate the community. The presently offer before and after school care, they have created a virtual learning class room, and offer a summer camp program at an affordable price! new Wave is there to assist you and your child’s needs. We couldn’t be happier that we chose New Wave to help our grandson grow.

We have been with New Wave for almost a year and I am beyond grateful for their support, knowledge and training that they’ve provided us! New Wave is a family environment where everyone is treated with respect and compassion! New Wave is our bonus family and they always work extremely hard to provide lifelong skills and discipline to each individual looking to gain skills in Martial Arts and self defense! Thank you for Master Sheila, Master Sabrina and Master Rick for everything that you have done for our family!

Absolutely LOVE the staff members and their dedication to learning and teaching. The masters show their knowledge during their lessons and have backgrounds in multiple types of martial arts and other fighting styles. The children are always excited to go and can’t wait to learn more! Bonus points for the location since it is in a shopping center, so parents can get their shop on while their kids are busy breaking a sweat.

Our kids have been coming to NWMA every weekday since August for their virtual schooling and karate combined program. Earlier in the summer we were desperate to find a solution to keep our kids occupied and focused on their virtual school during the day while we worked at a place that was affordable, safe, and would keep them happy and physically active. We literally could not have asked for a better solution and from the moment I first talked to Master Rick, he blew me away with his compassion and professionalism. They are extremely committed to martial arts, yes, but most of all they are committed to their kids and families. They really are a second family to us now and we know the kids are happy, having fun, and in an incredibly supportive environment. Even my 10 year old stepdaughter who insisted she had NO interest in karate whatsoever now loves it and is excelling.
