I trained here for a week while visiting MD for work. I was welcomed like family the moment I walked into the gym. The coaches and students here are all very hospitable and the instruction is great. I really enjoyed my time here and highly recommend any one in the area to check them out.

I have been training at Underworld for a few years now, I started with no previous knowledge/experience in martial arts at all. The whole team welcomed me like a family member, they helped me progress in BJJ in a family-type environment. I can’t recommend this place enough. The coaches are great, knowledgeable and very approachable, and the facility is huge, with tons of mat space. Perfect place to train!

I have been training consistently for 7 years and have trained in well over a dozen schools all across the country. Believe me when I say, this school is different. From the second I entered the gym, I was treated like family. I have met hundreds of black belts, and they are all passionate about Jiu Jitsu, but Professor Carlos is unique. His motivation for teaching Jiu Jitsu is truly pure. If you are in the area and looking to learn world-class Jiu Jitsu in an incredible community, you have to give this gym a try. This is definitely my second home when I visit Baltimore!
