I joined Atom Jiu-Jitsu Science four months ago, and it has been a great experience. Professor Daniel Mola has created a respectful, disciplined, and welcoming environment, with a strong focus on principles and concepts that make the techniques easy to understand and apply in a practical—yet very safe—way. Since training here, I’ve already seen positive results. My strength and cardio have improved significantly, and I’ve built strong fundamentals, including staying calm and persistent in uncomfortable positions. I’ve also lost 15 pounds over the past four months, which has been very motivating and keeps me coming back. My wife and kids have also joined, which I think speaks volumes about how welcoming and amazing this place is.

I’ve been doing bjj for over 3 years now and this is the best experience I’ve had yet. I have been out due too a foot injury for 4 months and my father had a herniated disc so he has also been out. We are both rehabbing and he excepts that we are injured. Coaches always invites me to class and I can not do everything but when I say no coaches do not push. They are very kind and skilled. They are good at instructing and alway make sure everyone understands. They make small adjustments to your form and technique so you are always learning. They are instructive but not rude to the students. The gym itself is a good space and everyone has enough room. They have a downstairs where you can put your belongings, change into your gear, and use the restroom. The people of the gym are kind and welcoming to new comers. They also help you learn as needed. As for the kids over the age of 12 they are usually put in the adults class and the adults help them learn and instruct them as they roll

My kids started training here four months ago, and they have absolutely loved it from day one. About a month later, I decided to join too — mainly because two friends wouldn’t stop raving about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I’m in my mid-40s, had never practiced any sport before, and the “wrestling” part sounded… intimidating. I signed up for the free trial just to push myself completely out of my comfort zone and be able to say, “I tried.” That alone would have been a win for me. But I truly couldn’t believe (and still can’t!) how much I ended up loving it. Coaches Gabi and Anastasia are exceptional with the kids — patient, encouraging, and somehow able to keep a room full of energetic children focused and learning. What I appreciate most is how much they emphasize safety, discipline, and respect. It’s not just about learning techniques; it’s about building character. My kids look forward to every class. I have the privilege of learning from Head Coach Daniel, the owner, and he is incredible. He teaches with clarity, calm confidence, and genuine encouragement, while always reinforcing safety and respect on the mats. I especially appreciate how he explains the science behind the moves — the positioning of hands, weight distribution, and leverage (bonus math and physics lessons during class!). It makes everything click in a way that feels both practical and fascinating. In every class, I’m so focused on remembering where my hands, feet, and knees are supposed to go that I completely forget about the rest of life’s problems. It’s the best kind of mental reset. I leave every class feeling stronger and surprisingly more confident. I came in skeptical and a little nervous — and now I’m hooked. Highly recommend this place!
