reviewsWhat Members Say

Members consistently praise the gym's enormous, clean, and well equipped workout spaces, with specific compliments about the beautiful yoga studio and motivating atmosphere. Several reviewers highlight exceptional coaching staff by name, including Victory Chen for her effective Classical Pilates instruction and Kevin Roache for personalized training that delivers results, while Enzo De Palma receives recognition for creating a welcoming membership experience. Some concerns are raised about cleanliness in locker and shower areas, with mentions of outdated facilities and unsanitary sauna practices, though these appear to be isolated issues compared to the overwhelmingly positive feedback about the main training areas and staff.

I went to Equinox not sure if I was going to get a membership. I met with a senior membership advisor Enzo De Palma, who really managed to connect with me and show me the true value of the membership and that’s it not just a gym, it’s more of a community. Enzo made the process super easy, I was in little bit of rush, he managed to smoothly get me signed up. I would recommend if anyone is looking for a membership at equinox to go through Enzo. He was honestly what made me sign up at equinox over lifetime.

Enormous equinox. So much space and so well laid out. I wish I took pictures of the yoga studio but I didn’t bring my phone to class. It was the most beautiful studio. Flooded with light. Tall ceilings and curved windows. This facility is just so enormous and they really do such an incredible job keeping it so clean. Thank you for having me!

I’ve been taking Classical Pilates sessions with VICTORY CHEN since last year, and the impact on my body has been incredible. She has significantly improved my posture—especially my lower back—and has helped me gain so much confidence with challenging exercises. Victory has an amazing ability to break down complex movements in a way that both my brain and body can truly understand, making even the hardest exercises feel achievable. Her Classical Mat Pilates classes (Tuesdays and Thursdays) are very challenging, but also fun, engaging, and incredibly effective for full-body conditioning. Beyond being an exceptional instructor, she’s also very fun, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to helping the body feel better and move more efficiently. I always leave class feeling stronger, more aligned, and energized. I highly recommend taking her mat classes and private sessions—she’s truly outstanding!

My experience at Equinox Boston was nothing short of excellent. The gym is always clean, with top-of-the-line equipment, and the atmosphere is incredibly motivating. The staff was always friendly and supportive, making it a great place to work out. A special shoutout to my personal trainer, Kevin Roache, who has been an absolute game-changer in my fitness era. Kevin has a unique ability to tailor workouts to my goals, pushing me to work harder while ensuring proper form and injury prevention. His knowledge and expertise have not only helped me see physical results but also given me the confidence to tackle challenges I never thought I could. Kevin’s approach is personal, professional, and motivating; I always looked forward to our sessions. Not only is Kevin an incredible personal trainer, but he also has some seriously impressive talents. I’ve seen him smash a watermelon between his thighs; yes, you read that right! His strength and control are truly at the next level. If that’s any indication of his dedication and power, it’s clear that Kevin can handle any challenge, both in the gym and beyond. Overall, I highly recommend Equinox Boston for anyone looking for a premium gym experience, and if you're in need of a personal trainer, Kevin Roache is the one to go to. Especially if you need that extra push in 2025. His dedication and passion for helping clients succeed are truly unmatched!

I used to be a member here. The shower and locker areas weren’t kept very clean and felt outdated. I often saw people going into the sauna fully clothed and wearing shoes before squash or basketball, which didn’t seem sanitary. The sauna wood had also become dark and grimy over time. This wasn’t the level of cleanliness I’d expect from an Equinox. On the positive side, the workout areas were always clean and well maintained, with a great selection of weights and equipment.
