I have been training here for over three year. This gym has become like a home to me and i know i am not alone when i say that. so many of us found exactly what we were looking for in Wai Kru: passionate teachers and students, a team environment that truly pushes you to your limits, and a toughness you wont get out of everyday life. if you want to learn the sport of muay thai for the purpose of competition, this is the place for it. if you want to improve your physical fitness and mental strength, wai kru will do that too. a lot of people come in for a few days or weeks, try it out and decide its not something they want to do, but i am sure that is true of any gym where the trainers do not pamper weaknesses or excuses. i have fought and trained only under this gym, so of course my judgement is biased. you always choose your home over someone else's, right? i recommend this gym to anyone looking to learn muay thai.

I had not worked out in five years before coming hear so wanted to get back in shape and having wrestled was really interested in MMA however this place was a huge disappointment. My first day working out there the trainer was very unprofessional and was very disrespectful. I was naturally struggling being very out of shape and he began putting me down in personal ways. I at first realized he was a moron so ignored him and focused on what I was doing he then called me a disrespectful name and I got angry and basically just told him not to call me that. He calls me over after and tells me not to speak back to him (as though I am a child when I am a grown man). He said other things as well. Basically speaking like a juvenile child. I simply told him I did not appreciate the way he came across and not to speak to me like that. He then tells me he has the right to and if I don’t like it to go to the fu**ing YMCA. After being caused at several times before also. I spoke to the manager about it the next day. The next day I went there and the other trainer was there and he was just as bad. Again baffled by the unprofessionalness I just left. I went back there twice more as I had already paid for the month. The people that go there to work out were very odd, nasty, and unpleasant to pay the least and got annoyed several times after having had stupid things said to me. Also when I worked out there they had us spar which I thought was going to be light and not actually hitting each other however they were actually sparing which I did not need. I was not there to hit someone or get hit but to get in shape. I also had to spare with girls which I was baffled by. As a guy I am not at all comfortable confronting a girl in such a manner (who does that?). I paid $160 to be disrespected, annoyed, made very uncomfortable at times, and to feel awkward. It was truly a terrible experience. DO NOT GO HERE!!!
