A perfect place for kids to learn. Tiny Tigers is fun to get the youngest kids excited about learning and discipline. The next level classes are rigorous but forgiving to set a standard without discouraging new learners. Would recommend to any family.

I’ve been taking Tai Chi and Kung Fu classes here for a few years now. As someone who started with very little experience, I appreciate how accessible the classes are to all ages and backgrounds, and all skill and fitness levels. My three teenage boys also take classes here and have since they were much smaller, and we always appreciated the fun and safe learning environment. Every instructor I’ve had the privilege to work with has been supportive, welcoming, and very well qualified. Stop reading this, go take a class!

There are plenty of "McDojos" all over - this, is not one of them. The moment you start training traditional martial arts at YMAA, you realize what's real and what's fake. If you expect training to be easy, you will be sorely mistaken (note: the training here is always extremely careful.) The instructor is amazing and you immediately feel like (and become a part of) a family. I cannot recommend this school enough!

i went to an intro class in push hands that turned into a nightmare. the class was taught by two instructors one of which was not actually an instructor. We started pushing hands and when i bested the "non instructor who formerly was a state trooper, he dropped his shoulder and pommeled me upward into my jaw. He broke 5 teeth and dislocated my jaw. i do not recommend this school.
