I've found a 2nd home at Allied Martial Arts studying several disciplines of stand up self defense such as... Muay Thai, Savate, Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Dirty Boxing, Wing Chun... as well as ground attack and defense with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Both Sifu Nick & Coach Hashem are highly trained and wonderful to work with! Patient and always able to adjusting the day's technique to suit any limitations due to past injuries or limitations. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with its students eager to welcome new members to the family. No egos just people looking to help one another grow in martial arts! Plus they have kids classes!

Nick and Hashem are two of the best instructors that I come across.I highly recommend people to come for these two individuals. If there is any place anybody would want to come get fit, learn great self-defense, learn how to fight, I assure you Allied Martial Arts would be the right place for you to train, get strong and learn a different variety of martial arts.

Learning from the Nick has been such a pleasure and great learning opportunity that I followed him to his new school Allied Martial Arts in South field MI. The difference between AMA and other MMA schools is that the instructors Nick and Hasham both want to see you succeed and won't give up on you. They are both highly qualified professionals in their own areas of expertise. Another aspect of AMA that I truly enjoy is and has helped me out as a fighter a great deal is its realism. The techniques you learn in the various classes are not only trained technically, but also trained for real life scenarios in sparring. I can not stress enough how critical practicing sparring is to becoming comfortable in a fight, real life or a just practice. If you are into JKD, sevate, BJJ, muay thai, self defense, or just want to get a good workout in, AMA is a great place to give a try! Would not recommend any other MMA school over AMA!

If you are at all interested in self defense or just a fun way to work out, you really owe it to yourself to check this place out. Super welcoming atmosphere and some great people. And it's obvious that they know their stuff. A few of us were talking afterwards about how we know people are nervous about martial arts and maybe feel intimidated. Trust me, you will feel like family here in no time. Martial arts are great for your mind, body, and spirit. And you couldn't ask for a better place to learn! Thanks Nico!!!!

I just joined this week. I was looking for a place where I could really learn to defend myself and my kids as a short woman. I'm very happy with my choice. After each class, I'm exhilarated by everything I've learned and dead tired! I didn't sign up because I want to get in shape but I have no doubt I'm going to get shredded lol. I haven't been this sore in a long time but you don't even realize you're working as hard as you are. Hands down better than any fitness class out there. The classes are personal, the other students are super friendly and helpful, the instructors are awesome and wise. They encourage you to face off with opponents from the very beginning but not in an intimidating way. My goal is to become very comfortable with fighting one-on-one so I will not have to think or hesitate in a real life fight. I have no doubt they're going to get me ready. It's definitely like training for a sport vs just staying in shape. I really love it.
