Detroit Urban Survival Training

My daughter had her first class this past Sunday and she loved it!! The team at DUST was very professional and engaging. They then proceeded to show us, because they got me involved also, some techniques designed for real life scenarios that everyone can benefit from learning. We’ll be back this week, and moving forward!! Awesome experience!!

My experiences at Detroit DUST have been amazing. I have always been passionate about Personal Protection and have always looked to be a seeker of knowledge. That is exactly what they have to offer! There is a lot of years of experience with some very extraordinary and friendly people who are happy to work with anyone. Each time I've come to train, I have learned something new and can apply it to what I do as an Instructor and also to my every day life as this type of training can most certainly save lives! The facility itself is very clean and comfortable! Go check them out and learn something new that could save your life one day!

DUST offers the most effective self-defense training I have found. If you don't want to spend years in a studio learning how to punch and kick, and want to quickly learn how to handle real-life situations that happen on the street, this is the place for you. They were teaching me tactics to deal with gun and knife threats on Day 1 along with how to assess potential threats and respond accordingly. After just a few months, I became much more confident because so many of my questions and fears were addressed. These people are incredibly passionate about sharing their knowledge and furthering their mission. I wish I'd found them years ago! I can’t think of a single type of person who wouldn’t benefit from this training.

Great atmosphere, wonderful talking with them and hearing about their programs. This guy is a history buff and a people lover. Husband and wife team that kicks ass. Can’t wait to start training!

Commander Brown, Mrs. Brown, and their team provided an exceptional experience for our group. Their extensive knowledge and patient approach made the training highly effective and engaging. Not only did they demonstrate practical self-defense techniques, but they also took the time to explain the purpose behind each move and the appropriate situations for using them.
