I don’t train here but my company has a vending machine inside the gym. So I am there regularly filling it. And I just have to say that everyone that works here and trains here has been incredibly friendly and welcoming. And the vibe in the gym makes me wish I lived a little closer to it so I COULD train here. I would highly recommend this gym based on what I’ve seen. And dealing with the owner has been a pleasure as well. I’m excited to see what this gym grows into. (Photos are pre opening)

This is a world-class institution and brand spanking new gym. The instructors are excellent (s/o Kole, Jay, and Hannah) and if you go often enough you will feel like family. Can’t speak more highly of this place. I found a new home.

It's a amazing gym and it gives hope and purpose. I drifted after the army and it was amazing to be accepted into kronk. My biggest hope is when the team gets settled and we can get the rest of our coaching staff I can represent and fight for my new home and family and live up to the legacy and respect of the kronk brand and family.

I trained at the original Kronk for over 20 years .now I train my great nephews, when I heard the new location opening at the old Brewsters. I knew that’s where I was taking my fighters. The trainers there are very experienced . You have the third world champion that Kronk gym created in Milton McCrory /James Lester Jr and four other trainers. if you’re serious about becoming a world champion this place is for you, or if you just want to learn self-defense and get in great shape come in I highly recommend it. The minute you walk in there, you feel the same energy from the original gym and that’s definitely saying something. Great job to Paul and JOHN for bringing back the best boxing gym in the world.

February 23, 2026 Update: I’m updating my review to four stars because the management at KRONK reached out to me personally to discuss my feedback. They were very friendly, listened to my frustrations regarding the classes and the billing, and offered remedies to resolve the situation. It’s clear they actually care about their reputation and their members. I’m really happy they took the time to bridge the gap, and I’m excited to see how the gym continues to serve the community in a positive way! I really wanted to love this place, given its legendary history, but after a month of classes, I’m walking away pretty frustrated. The classes themselves just aren’t a great use of an hour. If you’re looking for actual boxing instruction, look elsewhere. The first 10 minutes are an unguided warmup, followed by some circuit training, and then you’re basically left to hit a heavy bag on your own with zero guidance. The instructor calls people into the ring one by one, meaning you might get 2 or 3 minutes of actual coaching in a 60-minute session. It felt more like a "pay to use the equipment" situation than a coached class. The real dealbreaker, though, was the customer service. When I realized the classes weren't for me, I called to cancel. I had already been auto-charged $100 for the next month and asked for a refund since I hadn't used the classes yet. The manager was completely dismissive. He told me he could cancel my membership so I couldn't attend anymore, but he refused to refund my money, blaming their "system" and then blaming me for not reading the fine print in the contract about auto-renewals. There was zero effort to ask why I was unhappy or how they could fix the experience; it was just "it's your fault, and we're keeping the money." It feels like they’re more interested in grabbing a quick $100 than treating people with respect. Between the lackluster training, the headache of a sign-up process, and the "tough luck" attitude from management, I’m leaving with a really sour taste in my mouth. Historic name or not, this was a total letdown.
