After coming twice now I can without a doubt say I’m looking forward to returning again and again. Everyone felt welcoming, and open to help one another on learning BJJ. The instructors are very knowledgeable and can explain things coherently and concisely. If you’re nervous coming in at first, you’ll soon feel relaxed and feel the judgement-free space and community they have cultivated here.

This place is truly outstanding. The quality of teaching is exceptional, and the coaches and instructors are both knowledgeable and genuinely supportive. The environment is welcoming, encouraging, and designed to help every student succeed. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to learn, improve, and feel motivated throughout the process they really go above and beyond to help you grow

Just got home from my first class and I could not be more satisfied or excited to get back! It is very much beginner friendly (especially today’s beginner class). The coaches, staff, and especially the other students are very helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and above all supportive. Definitely recommend giving it a shot if you’re even half thinking about it, you won’t regret it!

I went to Shakelfords MMA Center for my first Muay Thai class and had a great experience. The coaches were welcoming, took time to explain techniques, and made sure I felt comfortable as a beginner. The class was challenging but encouraging, and the atmosphere was supportive rather than intimidating. I left feeling motivated, confident, and excited to keep training.

I came for my very first session and it was absolutely amazing! Very fitting for beginners. I felt confident and the instructor was very informative. I would definitely recommend trying them out💯👏🏾
