Tiger Rock Academy- Brandon Mississippi

My kids age 8 & 6 joined Tiger Rock January of 2015 and have since learned so many valuable life lessons. Not only have I seen them become more active they've become more outgoing and more confident. I can't say enough great things about the instructors and the overall atmosphere of the academy. If you're looking for a place to try karate in the Brandon/Pearl area I highly recommend trying Tiger Rock!

I really can't say enough great things about Tiger Rock. We've been a part of it for 4 years now and it's been wonderful. The staff/instructors are, by far, the best you'll find. It's a great family-friendly atmosphere and I am so thankful to have found it. For our children, it has given them confidence, self-control, and helped to develop leadership skills. It's awesome!

My grandson has been taking Taekwondo from Tiger-Rock since April of 2019. In the last two years he has grown in his self confidence and loves going to class. All of the instructors are wonderful. They encourage each student to do their best, and regardless of the outcome to be proud of their efforts and to move forward. Enrolling him in this program was such a great decision!

I highly recommended Tiger Rock Martial Arts for any boy or girl ages 4+. My son started Tiger Rock in June of 2016 at the age of 7; just as a summer activity...Here we are over 1.5 yr later, he is almost 9 and is very involved and loves it. It really was one of the best decisions we've made; he has learned so much more than the art of kicking and punching; he's learned concentration, how to work as a team, how to support and respect others, how to handle disappointments and even how to handle himself in a humble manner during his accomplishments. The instructors at Tiger Rock are great; they treat each kid like family, and are truly invested in each one. They want to see them succeed not only on the mat but in life. My only regret is we didn't start sooner, if you haven't seen the Tiger Cubs (4-5 yr olds) in action, you are missing out.

We've had our daughter at TR for 2.5 years, since she turned 4 and could start in the Cubs class. We'll start our son in the fall when he is old enough! It has been a great outlet for her personality and temperament, and has helped shaped great character qualities in her, like self-control, patience, good attitude, determination, and more. Everyone on staff is so great to interact with and she has loved all of her instructors from the beginning. The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Dear, have always been quick to respond to any questions we have had. The staff has been so diligent and flexible during Covid also. I absolutely love how flexible the schedule is and how you can see/hear what is going on in their class (neither of which I had the options with when we tried gymnastics). Will always recommend Tiger Rock to anyone who asks :)
