AKKA Karate Independence

We have tried many different studios in the past but my daughter and I were instantly drawn in by Akka run by Mr. Burt. The location is nice because it's not in the middle of a busy shopping center (main perk) and my daughter has felt a level of inclusiveness she hadn't felt anywhere else. Her motivation and dedication has increased, as well as her pride of doing something for herself. Their flexible schedule and reasonable pricing has made it possible for our family's tight budget. Our family loves the time spent cheering her on and seeing her smile while learning. Definitely a must for anyone wanting to learn karate. 😊

We are still in our trial time at AKKA, but even in this short period, we’ve already seen such a positive impact. My son has really learned to use his voice, and I can visibly see his confidence growing week by week. The structure and discipline the program provides has been exactly what he needs. As a single parent, I especially value the extra structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement AKKA brings into his life. It truly feels like an extension of the values I’m working so hard to build at home. I also love that the program includes the parents and keeps us involved in the process — that piece makes such a difference. And Mr. Burt couldn’t be any kinder! He is patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in the kids. We are so happy to have found AKKA and are very thankful for the impact it’s already making in our family.

AKKA Karate is amazing. 2 of my grandsons go and they love it... Mr Burt and Mr Harris are the best. They teach the kids skills in a kind and caring manner, but they also go beyond that. They want the best for them and keep them focused on the task at hand, in class and carry that over into everyday . And their kickboxing class, or fitness class is the best.... I love it.

My son Cayden started here. He absolutely loves it!! He has mainly worked with Burt & Harris & they have been amazing with teaching him new skills. My son enjoys coming to class each week & loves learning new things. I can already see a confidence boost in him & his hard work that he has done.

If you are looking for a great place for your child to learn karate this is the place! However it is so much more than just that! This gentleman will teach your child manners reverence respect created in an atmosphere of patience and encouragement! My grandsons confidence has improved greatly since coming to practice!
