AmeriKick Martial Arts Overland Park

They have been very welcoming and sweet to my son. He is definitely progressing and the senseis have been very patient and understanding! I have noticed a change in my sons listening skills and behavior skills at home! The senseis have always made him feel welcomed and comfortable! Highly recommend AmeriKick!

My family is so thrilled to be students at Amerikick! Kevin and Kowen ( 4,5)are students in the dragon class. Amerikick has enhanced their listening, confidence, concentration and focus skilles, along with athletes. The senseis that work at Amerikick are phenomenal. They are so great with the kids. They have fun and teach. It’s a great balance of fun and discipline. We could not have chosen a better karate school. We love Amerikick!

I was looking at a few places trying to decide where to go to take my daughter for karate; she learned that gymnastics were not her calling. When coming in for her first day, they were very welcoming and made us feel comfortable and no pressure whatsoever. The Sensei's there were very friendly and made us feel like part of the family. After a few weeks of being there, we have made friends. I really like how they put care and effort into the students growth in their class, and they also make it fun for them to enjoy the class too. The Sensei's make it personable in each class they teach and my daughter loves coming here all the time.

AmeriKick has truly made a lasting impact on my kids’ lives. What began as a martial arts program teaching strength, resilience, and discipline has grown into something much deeper. The instructors and staff are not only highly trained but also incredibly communicative, patient, and supportive. Their dedication has created an environment where my kids feel seen, encouraged, and motivated every day. Over time, AmeriKick has come to feel like a second family, a place where my kids not only learn martial arts but also build confidence, respect, and lasting friendships. It’s more than just a program for my kids, it’s a community that now feels like home.

We’ve been coming here for going on week 3 now, both of my kids look forward to class everyday. All of the Sensei’s are very active and professional with all techniques. Studio is clean and tidy. There’s always someone to greet you when you walk in and you can watch your kids train the whole session which I like. Sensei Parish is a great instructor for small students. Very patient and thorough, takes the extra time to correct someone and make sure they’re not falling behind. I like the energy there and the people always have a smiling face.
