reviewsWhat Members Say

Members consistently praise the high-quality instruction and dedicated coaches across all disciplines, with specific mentions of excellent BJJ and kickboxing classes. Many describe the gym as having a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere that fosters strong community connections and personal growth. However, some visitors report inconsistent drop-in policies and confusion about appointment requirements despite social media messaging suggesting walk-ins are welcome. One concerning review from an experienced black belt described an incident with an overly aggressive training partner that raised safety questions, though this appears to be an isolated experience among otherwise positive feedback.

Glory MMA is an exceptional facility where individuals come together not just as friends, but as family. This welcoming environment provides a sense of belonging while offering top-tier instruction in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and a variety of other fighting techniques. Families are encouraged to train together, fostering both personal growth and strong connections. I wholeheartedly recommend Glory MMA for anyone seeking a supportive, professional, and inclusive martial arts community.

Glory is a great gym! Myself and both my boys train Bjj, and the instruction for both kids and adults is fantastic. I also take the kickboxing classes, and again great instructors. The environment has been life changing for my family and I can’t imagine being anywhere else!

Any time I’m in town and healthy, I make sure to take a class here. The instructors are dedicated to their students, encourage good form, excellent conditioning, and an indomitable spirit. This is a place you join for the long haul, and if I lived locally, it would be my home gym.

Black belt with 19 years of jiu jitsu experience. I travel for work and have visited probably close to 100 gyms across the country. I'm gonna leave a very honest and detailed review about my experience here. First of all, I had a very weird experience where I showed up to a class, and the instructor told me that they don't usually allow drop ins. He was nice enough to allow me to train anyway, and that was much appreciated. However, not allowing drop ins is a huge red flag to me. In my years of experience, getting to train against different styles is very important to growth, and being robbed of that experience can slow down your skill growth. That being said, they clearly have some very talented people at this school. At least one person who is actively on the UFC roster was there training that morning, which tells me that this is an excellent school for getting top-tier training. There was another major concern, however - and the primary reason I'm leaving a 2 star review. While rolling, there was a kid I rolled with. I was able to start attacking some submissions, and ended up in my guard. Immediately, he puts both hands on my jaw, and with all of his strength, starts pushing my neck backwards. I could see his teeth clenching, and his eyebrows furrowed in literal rage. It was very clear he wanted to hurt me. Afterwards, he told me that I elbowed him. First of all, it's a contact sport. Sometimes, you're going to get bonked. It sucks, but it's part of the sport. That being said, he rolled extremely uncontrolled and aggressively, and that is always going to increase the likelihood that bonks happen. He confronted me multiple times on this, kept insisting that we roll over and over again, and there were points where I thought he was genuinely going to sucker punch me. He did calm down towards the end, but only after I explained to him that I was a black belt with 19 years experience. I believe he didn't know how much experience I'd had, and was upset at how well I was doing against him. We shook hands at the end, and he seemed friendly and respectful Still, if this is the culture at this school, I strongly recommend avoiding this school unless you are the absolute most competitive MMA fighter out there. If you're simply seeking a place to casually train and learn, especially if you're a beginner, the risk of being hurt is far too high. In 19 years of training and visiting a ton of different schools, this is the only time I've ever felt like there was a real danger to my safety, and I cannot stress enough that nobody should visit a school where that is present in the school's culture.

I feel weird leaving a bad review after seeing so many good ones but I was turned away from dropping in for GloryFit (which was nowhere near full) because I “needed an appointment” which is not clarified anywhere on the website or social media. Actually, a lot of the social media messaging is “just show up” so that’s confusing. You also can’t pre-register on the website and no one answered the phone when I called 45 minutes ahead of time to be sure. The head coach didn’t tell me why I needed an appointment, he just offered to make me one for later in the day but what is supposed to change between 9am and 4pm that makes it okay for me to be there? Idk, maybe it’s just my experience and it’s still a good gym but that felt weird and I don’t want to go back now.
