I joined with zero MMA background and immediately felt welcomed. You get real one-on-one attention even in group classes.the coaching is top tier and the community here is supportive but competitive in the best way. I’ve gotten stronger, fitter, and way more confident. Best gym I’ve ever trained at. Highly recommend!

The instructors teach beginners very patiently, so even first-timers can feel comfortable. The gym has a great atmosphere and a wonderful community. If you're thinking about trying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for the first time, I highly recommend this gym!!

Since May 20th, we have been regular attendees at Marathon MMA. My 12-year-old daughter's interest in the boxing and kicking components of the curriculum led me to enroll her. We have maintained a consistent attendance schedule of four times a week, Monday through Thursday, since May. The coaching staff is outstanding, demonstrating patience and understanding when working with children. The one-hour practice sessions are efficiently managed. The coaches strike an effective balance between being concise and firm, while also being attentive and endearing to the children. My daughter quickly formed connections with her peers, who warmly welcomed her into the program. I highly recommend this training for children, as it has had a profoundly positive impact on my daughter's confidence and self-esteem. The instruction provided by Coach Trey, Coach Mary, Coach Stephen, Coach Miles, and others is of the highest quality, and my daughter greatly appreciates their guidance

Welcoming, clean gym with high level training partners and a really clear, skilled and detailed head coach. Evening classes always have a big group so there are plenty of training partners. One of the best open mats in the area! Can’t recommend enough, as a purple belt of 6 years training BJJ

I’ve been training BJJ here for 5 months. Been a great experience. A few highlights: They keep the mats and locker room clean. There is respect between the BJJ and MMA guys. The prices are reasonable. The quality of training is very high. Trey holds high standards for belting so, if you attain a stripe or the next belt up you’ll have full confidence that you earned it. Regarding the training quality -I’ve visited a couple other gyms and the instructors there were great but, Trey does not just teach fancy moves that you’ll never use. He teaches practical, foundational skills that train your fundamentals which you can then build off of. It’s clear that throughout the year he wants to give his students the opportunity to cover all their bases and develop a tight game where they can have an answer for every position/scenario. He’s been in the ring with other world class fighters and won by submission -a lot. So, he knows what actually works. If you want top level, I’d go to marathon.
