Master Dave is one of the best instructors I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. My daughter started in their after school program with Master Dave and his wife Andrea when her elementary school's after care was full. Pricing was even better than the district's and they could pick her up from the school and take her back to their location. After a year, we enrolled her in the Taekwondo program and have been doing that for the last 2.5 years. Their martial arts program has really brought the confidence out of my daughter. We love coming here and feel like family ♥️

I love this place and more importantly my daughter loves it. She is 5 and just started. I needed her to have more structure and discipline, she has a bit of the only child syndrome. This has been perfect for her. Teaching her respect and she is focusing better. Also, of course she is learning self defense. She has a blast and looks forward to going. I love that she can everyday if she wants. (Only marked out faces for privacy reasons. 🤷🏻‍♀️)

My son has been taking TKD with Master Dave for 12 years. I cannot sing this man’s praises enough! I would trust him with any child in my life. My son came to him so shy, 45 minutes later he finally said “yes sir”. Dave wouldn’t budge. Now my son considers him his mentor. He has an incredible ability to decipher what each child needs and then ensures they get it. The self discipline and self confidence my son has learned is fantastic! Bringing him to Master Dave was the best decision we made as parents. My son is turning 18 and is a leader in his community, A+ student and an excellent young man. We thank Master Dave for helping our son unlock the potential we knew was hiding. Highly recommend this dojo to everyone we know.

I cannot recommend MAI North enough. Master Dave is thorough, thoughtful, and energetic in his approach to taekwondo. We are about two years in, and have seen improvements in general athletic ability in addition to a better sense of respect and discipline. Their summer camp is also amazing - Andrea has lots of great programs & a good demeanor with the kids.

My son has been part of MAI North for over 3 years and it has been such a wonderful positive experience. Master Dave is a wonderful teacher and coach - he brings the best out in the students and pushes them to reach their potential all while making the classes fun and interactive. I can't imagine better place to study martial arts and I'm so glad we found this wonderful school.
