Metro KC Fitness - Blue Springs

This is a really cool gym with lots of special equiptment you don’t see anywhere else. The culture here is also fantastic. Things get put away where they go, and machines get wiped down every time. It has been a good home away from home, and my only complaint is that there isn’t a location closer to STL!

I think it a great place to go. I find it clean and ready to go when I get there to the gym. People are nice and leave you alone so you can do your work out. This is my first ever gym so I didn't really know what to expect. I find the price is reasonable and the location for me is fantastic.

Great, clean gym with every piece of equipment you could need. It’s clear the members and staff have a great amount of respect for each other and the gym itself. Would highly recommend.

A great gym to achieve all of your fitness goals. Very well equipped with a great staff! Glad I made the switch from my old cookie cutter gym. Absolutely love that I have 24 hour access as well.

The facility itself is a good gym, the equipment is well kept and decently clean from what I can tell. I had a membership at Metro KC for a few years and used to work out at their downtown location, the gym was clean and the staff there was professional, kind, helpful and made you feel welcome when you went there. I moved back to Blue Springs and started going to this location which I had actually already been to back when it was Fazzeek Fitness. Let me tell you it was completely different from Fazzeek. The facility itself is in good shape like I said, but the staff are rude, not helpful unless they are friends with you, and if you don’t play music on your headphones and just listen to them you will probably hear them talk badly about some of the people in the gym. After moving again I was not close to any of the metro KC locations and decided to cancel my membership, I went in and canceled on February 9th and the young lady and young man that helped me were fine but the young man asked me a lot of questions as to why I was canceling and told me that I still needed some work done and that I would be back eventually, after the paperwork was filled out I turned in my access fob like they asked and left. One month later I received 2 charges on my bank account from them so I called and they waved one that they said was an enhancement fee but charged me a membership fee, this was on march 3rd and the lady that took my call didn’t want to talk to me she kept trying to hang up when I was asking why I was charged and since the 30day cancellation was after they charged my account if they could pro rate and refund the money, she said that she didn’t know and it wasn’t her problem, I asked for a receipt to be emailed to me so I have proof of what I was charged and she told me that she wouldn’t do that, she then told me that at least I could use the gym until April, I asked her how that was possible since they took my access fob, canceled my online access through the app and I live far away, she didn’t have an answer and said she had to go she had another person to deal with and hung up. All in all this is just sad and disappointing to see that they can’t be like their other locations. I wouldn’t use this location go to any of the other ones they will treat you well.
