I started going to Stride about a year ago now after my son was doing it. Amazing coaches and people! Very family oriented. Everyone is there to make each other better. If you are thinking about your kid or yourself doing martial arts, this is the best place to go. I do the kickboxing and Jiu Jitsu. No better feeling than punching, kicking and choking your friends

The instructors here come from a long pedigree of professional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu artist and even former UFC stars. What's pleasantly surprising is the moment you walk through the doors it's an instant family environment. Kids hanging out watching their parents (with things to keep them occupied), and for the children that take class their not just getting a belt and building confidence, they are learning techniques that actually work. I can't say enough good things about Stride. It's not a school. It's a family. They've taken a quiet young man in my son and gave him confidence and self worth that will last a lifetime. Its extremely hard to create a family environment, but still teach self defense techniques that wont get you hurt in a real situation. You usually only get one or the other at most gyms, but at Stride, you get both. You owe it to yourself and your family to come try one of their free introductory classes. You won't be disappointed.

My grandson is a member of the Stride Martial Arts πŸ₯‹. When I went in person to inquire about how we get started I was kindly greeted by Matt the owner who was very nice and not pushy to sell his services, but to offer us complimentary classes first to make sure we are making the best decision for our best needs. Yes, we found a great group of people who support eachother and the positivity is wonderful. Michael is learning great techniques and feeling more confident and comfortable about him. I highly recommend Stride Martial Arts and Fitness.

Training at Stride has been such an enjoyable and positive experience. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and take the time to break things down, answer questions, and make sure you actually understand what is being taught. I don’t feel rushed or overlooked during classes and I am able to incorporate the moves that were taught during live rounds. It can be intimidating at first, putting yourself out there to learn a completely new skill set. What makes all the difference at this gym is the culture. The coaches and training partners are respectful, supportive, and always prioritize safety. Everyone is mindful of their own strength/size and make an effort into taking care of their training partner. This creates an environment where you can learn confidently without fear of getting hurt. Training here feels welcoming and genuinely encouraging for people at any stage of their jiu jitsu journey. The coaches/students heavily prioritize sanitizing the equipment and mats after each session to ensure a clean environment for training. As a mom of two little ones, I appreciate the kids section that has books and coloring activities that can keep them entertained while I am able to train. Overall, this gym feels welcoming, supportive, and professional. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone considering stepping on the mats and trying jiu jitsu.
