We decided my son needed a little something more than just school . My son decided he would love to try jujitsu, I googled and reviewed many gyms ending my choice with Warriors Academy. The affordable 6 month contract for my son to experience discipline, friendship, leadership and more was just what we were looking for. Coach Frazz has been more than understanding and generous with my family and my sons needs. Coaching for the children of all age groups is very well maintained giving each child the opportunity they deserve. The gym and matts are very well kept making sure cleanliness is up to standards , making me feel safe to have my son roll around as long as he wants.

Warriors Academy is without question the place to be for self defense training! The coaches truly care about their students and teacher real life scenarios. It is a tribe of people that can become family if you let it. I have some great friends that have built a bond through hard work, sweat and struggle. Come check them out and change your life - it is worth it!

I started Krav here at 49 years old. I was out of shape at 225lbs, and had no idea on how to efficiently protect myself which was a sad place to be in. I noticed someone stated this isn't a class to get in shape, which is incorrect because I'm down to 195lbs, and feel better physically and mentally, than I have in years. I always wanted to try Krav but was timid going into a gym like WAKC. Initially it was tough for someone my age and my fitness level, but I will never regret going. Unlike going to a regular gym, I look forward to class days, and would go more if I lived closer. The coaches are tough, but only because they want you to succeed. They're not going to let you hide or sandbag, and just let you coast through classes. They aren't just there to get more to attend and pay, to get class counts up, they're going to be straight with you and that's a good thing. The BJJ classes are so good also, and definitely recommended if you're not into Krav. I hated not being able to go to more of those, and will get back to that soon, but again, I'm already going down there numerous times a week for KM. For those nervous about a gym atmosphere, there are no issues with egos or negative members at this gym. I didn't find the typical attitudes that you can get at other gyms, everyone is open to working with you and working at your pace. They have a spouse/ family plan that is a great deal. It's awesome to see parents training BJJ with their own kids, or husbands and wives coming in for a KM class together. It's a great program to build self-esteem, self-control, and spend time with your kids or spouse learning something that will actually benefit you in real life. With the schedule, you could hit a class in the afternoon or evening almost everyday of the week. Give them a try and I'm betting you'll get addicted to it just as I have.

I trained at WAKC briefly and found the instructors to go above and beyond in their work with belts white to black, across the board. Everyone no matter their race, color, or creed was welcome and included equally; Coach Frass and his wonderful group of instructors make you feel at home with his team right from the jump.

Good place to get some training but pay very close attention to the terms of your contract. They will not let you out of your contract even when your newly amended work schedule makes it difficult for you to attend. I was particularly disheartened by their lack of compassion to circumstances beyond my control.
