Both my husband and our young son attend this BJJ gym. Byron is a stellar owner, coach, and person. I am so impressed with his ability to interact with adults and children alike. He works hard and it shows. He is patient and engaged. He is always willing to help and is so encouraging. He also works hard to make certain that people feel welcome and safe. So glad we found Byron!

Our 6-year-old absolutely loves Council Bluffs Brazilian Jiu Jitsu! Professor Byron and Brit are amazing with kids—patient, encouraging, and great at teaching real skills while keeping it fun. We’ve seen our son grow in confidence and ability, and he looks forward to every class. Highly recommend!

This a great place for growth. I've seen positive changes in my brother's life. Coach Byron/and Brit really love what they do, and enjoy making being apart of the changes in someones life. I've seen positive changes like, self esteem, dedication, and physical changes from the exercise he gets at the gym. I would highly recommend this gym to someone wanting a change in their life for the better

Council Bluffs Brazilian Jiu-jitsu is a great school to learn and train. I train jiu-jitsu and I also travel alot for work. I found this gym on my travels and asked to drop in. They were very welcoming from the start. The classes have good structure and leadership from Byron. He is a good instructor to the adults and kids. Everyone is respectful on the mats. And I go back to train at CBBJJ whenever I get to travel to Omaha/Council Bluffs.

Council Bluffs Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has become my son’s favorite place. He is typical 3 year old boy with a lot of energy and little boy aggression. Jiu-Jitsu has given him the skills and tools to help use that energy and aggression in a safe and fun way. He loves Byron and looks forward to class every week. Council Bluffs Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is the best and everyone is welcome here!
