American Wrestling Club

I have been training with Mark since August 5th 2022 . I was over 280lbs when I started and had never wrestled or done Jiu-jitsu in my life. I go to two others gyms along with his and I'm currently down over 40lbs since August, Mark was gracious enough to give me private lessons to help me get into his regular class of guys, I didn't ask for them he offered me that opportunity, Mark didn't have to do that for me he could have just ignored me or shown me the door, instead he gave me a chance to show that I was serious about joining. I'm now with the guys in the regular class and love hanging out with everyone and learning the most difficult sport in the world along with a great group of guys and a great coach. His kids classes look awesome and everyone has a great time. I'm very greatful that I joined American Wrestling Gym and that I have a great trainer who knows Wrestling, Jiu-jitsu and MMA like no one else. A fantastic place to train low level grappling for kids, all the way to elite level Jiujitsu and Wrestling. Either that be for ADCC Jiujitsu, Folk-style for High school and college, or Olympic style for the US Open. Coach Mark Dickman is the best at what he does, not to mention was also a former Bellator fighter and can combine his skill set to provide the best high level grappling for up and coming fighters to improve their game as well.

Been training here for a little over 6 months. Mark is an extremely knowledgeable coach and it’s a great environment to learn new skills or brush up on old skills you haven’t used for a while. Looking forward to continue to train here and continue my skill set in both wrestling and jiu jitsu

Girls wrestle too!! My son and my daughter both wrestle with Coach Mark. Neither had wrestled before they started at American Wrestling Club. My daughter is usually pretty shy and reserved but Coach Mark has made her love wrestling. Wrestling has made her stronger and more sure of herself. Coach Mark does a great job helping new kids learn and helping more experienced kids excel. For me as a parent Mark is experienced and knowledgeable, for my kids he is "fun and nice". Coach Mark has definitely made a difference in my kid's lives. So glad we found American Wrestling Club!!

This is a great school. The coach is patient with the kids, teaches them fundamentals, and is firm with what he expects of them. This is a wrestling class which means its full contact and can appear to be very aggressive, but the coaches are appropriate and concerned about technique and safety. I think this is a great group.
