My son has gone to Big Shot for close to 2 years. The the discipline and confidence Coach Mark instills in his fighters, helps build strong, moral, leaders. I have witnessed my son go from an introverted, shy teenager to a confident, social young man. I can't thank Coach Mark enough for the work he puts in shaping these fighters. The gym itself has the aura of tough, fundamental, bite down on your mouth piece and let get after it atmosphere. Coach Mark doesn't take a cookie cutter approach to training. Big Shot Boxing is one of one! Let me tell you Coach Marc is truly one of a kind. From the first day we met him at BSB, it was clear that he is an honorable, respectable, and deeply honest person. He doesn’t just teach boxing; he truly loves the sport and, more importantly, he genuinely cares about the people he trains. What I love most is how he handled my son’s very first session. He made him feel incredibly comfortable right away. Coach Marc is never frustrated; he is patient, kind, and takes the time to ensure the fundamentals are understood. Even in a class full of students, his attention to detail is amazing. He catches everything, from a slightly off stance to hands being held just a fraction too low. The growth I’ve seen in my son is nothing short of extraordinary. He went from learning how to place his feet and guard properly to confidently sparring in the ring with his classmates. But the impact goes beyond the gym. Coach Marc has instilled a level of discipline in my son that I never expected. My son now enjoys going on 3-mile runs and stays on top of his own conditioning because he wants to take his training seriously. Big shot Boxing and Coach Mark are the truth. My 13 year old has gone through the BSB system and with 1 on 1 sessions with Coach Mark. He learened the fundamentals, found his boxing game, and recieved alot of good mentorship and coaching on offense, defense, footwork and gym habits. After the initail sessions, my son wanted to enroll in the monthly classes with the other young boxers (12 - 16 year olds). This provides him with the comraderie, the culture and the physicality of the gym - as well as continue getting excellent coaching from Mark. We are firm believers in Big Shot Boxing, Coach Mark - the system, the gym culture, and the sport - and would recommend them 100%.

Big Shot Boxing has been such a great experience for my son. Coach Marcos is not only an amazing boxing coach, but also a great mentor who truly cares about the kids. He pushes them to work hard, stay focused, and be their best, both in and out of the gym. We have been looking for a boxing gym for my my son (15) for a while now. It seemed like every place that offered it was more of an all age group fitness class vs actual boxing. I found Mark @ big shot on Facebook, we started with some one on one sessions so he understood everything and now we are in the group classes and it’s amazing because it’s kids his actual age and size and the energy and instruction is exactly what we had hoped for.
