My daughter loves taekwondo. It has a great family community. I really appreciate the mature and experienced adults that teach the kids. Her self discipline and self esteem has improved greatly. I also love their outreach to assist the lower income community.

My 7 year daughter has been taking classes at LMTK for a little over a year now and has been loving it. With consistency and hard work she’s already advanced to blue belt. The instructors are all amazing, work hard, and love what they do, and they really love the kids! They take a lot time with each student to make sure they are caught up and doing their best. I’ve seen a huge confidence boost and increase of focus and self control in my daughter, and it’s so fun to watch her be so proud of herself and her accomplishments. If you’re thinking about martial arts for your child, teenager, or even yourself, they are truly amazing here!

Taekwondo is supposed to teach discipline, respect, and self-control. Unfortunately, after a recent interaction online, I feel the need to point out that someone associated with this place, whether a student or instructor, responded to a simple comment of mine by insulting my political views and telling me to go fight in Iran. I never insulted anyone or attacked anyone personally, so it was disappointing to see that kind of response from someone connected to a martial arts school. Encouraging hostility or personal attacks does not reflect the values that Taekwondo is supposed to represent. I still believe martial arts can build character and discipline, but it’s important that the people representing a school actually practice the respect and self-control that Taekwondo teaches.
