In Vegas from Scotland for UFC 324 and went to Syndicate for the Muay Thai class. As a stranger to a new gym and from another country I was unsure how it would go. From the minute we walked in we were made to feel so welcome. Jo Jo gave us the full tour of what is amazing facility and introduced us to Chris the coach. I had a fantastic session with all the team, no ego’s only proper nice people. So much so I cancelled our plans for today to go back for another class. Massive thanks to everyone at Syndicate and can’t wait to come back next time in town. Can’t recommend this gym highly enough.

Dropped in for open mat during my weekend trip to Las Vegas. The gym is a beautiful and very clean facility and the people running it are very friendly and welcoming. I had amazing rolls there. Great vibe and atmosphere.

Dropped in to train for a bjj tournament. Class was amazing very very friendly guys and girls. Front desk girl made sure I knew were everything was and also introduced me to the coach! Amazing gym from a Canadian bjj traveler

Great gym, Jerry is an amazing teacher and really takes the time to show you the techniques and break things down regardless of what level you are. Jo Wood was also amazing and so welcoming, the whole team is great and it’s easily one of the best gyms I’ve had the pleasure to train at.

Was sparring with someone on their amateur team and he got mad that I was tagging him (even though I was light sparring at 30% like we were suppose to and he was going 100%) so he tried to fight me outside of the gym and then he got all of his friends from the pro/amateur team and he got all of the COACHES as well (would think that coaches should be trying to deescalate situations, not telling me that they're a "big clique" and that I should "be worried of 15 dudes sitting outside the gym waiting for me every time I leave the gym from now on. One of the coaches, Kanway, even dug his fist into my chest and screamed in my face like a drill sergeant.) to gang up on me. What's funny is I never once threatened anyone the whole time this was going down and I was never aggressive the entire time either but I was threatened and ganged up on by 8 members of staff and about 20 students just because some jerk on their pro team didn't like that he couldn't touch me in sparring and wanted to cause a scene. One guy even grabbed my arm and when I removed his hand from my arm and told him not to touch me he said "I'll hurt you" and then a coach got in my face and said "if you want to get to him you got to go through me." And then when I went to the bathroom after all that I heard the coaches saying that whether the fighters on the pro team are in the right or not, they're going to take their side because they've been training there "way longer than me". Anyway there's even more details I could share but I would say, don't pay $200 bucks a month to train here unless you want to pay $200 a month to get ganged up on by students and coaches if one of them gets mad. The coaches don't care if their pro team fighter is in the wrong, they'll just take their side and gang up on you. They were very ghetto! Oh and just last week they had a couple of big fights break out in their gym that resulted in people getting jumped in their cars in the parking lot and they were beaten, punched, kicked, and bitten! And then the next day there were literally 30 dudes (students and coaches) outside of the gym waiting for a couple of dudes to leave the gym after their training and they tried to jump them! This gym is horrible and honestly not a safe training environment! Can't spar or train here without running the risk of getting jumped, stabbed or shot! And on top of that, their classes suck in my opinion so I was more than happy to call them and ask them to cancel my membership after all that crap went down and I will be training at a new gym starting next month because I don't want to get jumped over a frustrated fighter. I am honestly shocked, I've never seen this kind of behavior at an MMA gym before. Especially from a gym's coaches. Super thuggish and unprofessional. Safe to say I won't be back!
