It is an atmosphere that encourages everyone to learn at their pace. Aikido supplements the study of other arts and/or creates lower impact training for those new to self-defense with practical applications. It is not a study of strength or force. I liken it to getting out of the way of the attack while moving with the attacker's motion.

Great place to study aikido, self defense, or if you're a senior or spend too much time at a desk, just learn to get up and move again. Patient, helpful, caring instructors. They'll get you on your way to your brown or black belt or help you get back to mortial arts despite the bad shoulder or wonky knee.

As someone who feels anxious in group settings I have nothing but good things to say here. The individuals that train here as well as Ron, are all very welcoming, talented, and understanding. You learn, and train at your pace. My son absolutely loves it and I as well. Nothing but a supportive environment, with the utmost patience for my exceeding level of clumsiness. Thanks!
