Before Coach Antonio took over as head coach, we already knew this was the best youth wrestling gym in Reno/Sparks. In just four months, he has stepped seamlessly into the role, coaching three of our kids while also becoming a mentor and role model they deeply respect. His impact on the wrestling community in Northern Nevada is immense, and the athletes here are truly fortunate to learn from him. He prioritizes safety, instills a love for the sport, and creates an environment where kids can thrive. Just as importantly, the parents share a strong bond and warmly welcome new athletes and their families into the fold.

I have two children that have wrestled with Gold Rush Reno (and formerly Silver State). They both love this club. It has helped not only build their skill level, but also grow a love for the sport. With being a member of PNL (premier national league), Gold Rush opens up more national opportunities than the other clubs in town are able to. I also appreciate the size of the club, because it's large enough that the kids get to know and build relationships with other wrestlers, but small enough that they get the individual attention that they deserve.

Absolutely the best place for wrestling in the Northern Nevada! High level of coaching and development for all levels. Improved my daughter’s mindset and wrestling technique immensely. They offer continued training and coaching for collegiate wrestlers. The coaches have made a lifetime impact on their wrestlers both on and off the mat!!
