I have been training with Fred since 2021. His knowledge, coaching and care for his students is unmatched. If you are looking for a place that is a great training environment with people trying to better themselves every session then Life BJJ is the place for you. In addition to the adult training they also have an incredible program for kids that my son is apart of. It truly is a place for the whole family to learn and train together! I recommend Life BJJ to everyone I talk to, so you should come check it out and see for yourself!

This place is exactly what we were looking for!! I put my son in a jiu jitsu class because I want him to learn jiu jitsu! Obviously. We tried out various different places and my son trained for about a year in another place but I felt like they were playing around or, in some of the bigger places, they would focus only on their few prized kids and leave the newer kids to figure it out. He wasn’t learning anything. In only a few weeks, learning from Fred, my son has already learned so much. He was taught an arm bar on his 3rd day!! There are a few other kids in the class who have been there a while and they can really move. Young kids that actually know JiuJitsu and Muay Thai. Fred gets down on the ground personally with each kid and demonstrates the correct way to do things. He pays attention and corrects them if they have incorrect form. He is really teaching. Fred and Patricia and all the other parents have been very welcoming since day one and we already feel like part of the family. The price is comparable to everywhere else and worth way more. This is the place to be.

I've been attending this academy for 3 years now. Professor Fred is a great instructor. I started from zero with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and through his instruction I've grown so much. Overall, I feel much healthier, stronger, and far more capable on the mat than I was when I started. The added benefit of being able to do Muay Thai at the same place means that if you're dedicated you can become a well rounded fighter here. Professor Fred promotes a healthy and welcoming environment in the academy. Life Jiu-Jitsu is very welcoming to new and experienced students. When I started everyone who had more experience with me made an effort to show me the ropes until I knew what I was doing. We have kept that tradition going with new students, and everyone is generally friendly and helpful.

I am incredibly grateful for the guidance and expertise that Professor Frederico has provided to my children. His skill level is exceptional, and it is clear that he is a master in his field. Not only is he knowledgeable, but he also has a unique ability to connect with students on a personal level, fostering an environment that is both challenging and supportive. Both of my kids have grown immensely under his training. They’ve developed confidence, discipline, and a genuine love for learning, all thanks to his patient and encouraging approach. Professor Frederico’s kindness and dedication to his students are unmatched, and I’m truly thankful for everything he’s done to help them reach their full potential. I started coming to Life Jiu Jitsu in December 2022, and have been coming weekly ever since. I don't have much of a martial arts background and zero experience in grappling, so Frederico has been a great jiu jitsu teacher. The environment is friendly, and everyone has the mindset of helping each other get better. I especially appreciate how mindful Frederico is someone has a medical condition or chronic injury. Whether it's my periodic back issues or someone else's chronic shoulder pain, Frederico reminds sparring partners to be aware and careful. He always encourages good technique over power and aggression during class. Life Jiu Jitsu has been a great experience in the months of my attendance, and I'm looking forward to improving my skill here.
