Drop-in classes are only $10, it's over $100\hour everywhere else (most places don't even offer drop ins). I like that they start you off at a pace you can actually handle instead of just throwing you right up to the top. Most new people want to rush & go to the hardest immediately but the coaches here are smart enough to know what you can (or should) handle. They also have you fill out a form for legal & safety reasons which is also very smart. They don't only teach you to defend yourself, they teach you to be smart about it. 👍

I took the renewal class for my CCW and I found the class to be very informative. They’re very open and honest with you and they are very good at training. The class was thorough knowledgeable fun and they have a good shooting range there there’re an all around class act if you want to learn how to defend yourself offensively defensively, and with weapons I highly recommend them. Rick & Heather have put their all into their company. God bless them

This is a great place to train in MMA, Kickboxing, & Gym! The prices are very reasonable compared to my past experience in other martial arts. The trainer Oscar is experienced in MMA, UFC and this training works with your abilities to avoid injuries getting into the training as well as kind respectful fellow students. I got my CCW training here on the RAC Guns side as well as getting set up with proper conceal carry options (Thanks Heather!), excellent firearms training classes, range membership, and awesome advice. These days this type of business is very busy so be patient and respectful you will get to know the kind experienced staff. Thank You RAC!

I absolutely love Reno Academy of Combat! I got my ccw here and have been taking Heathers kick box cardio classes since 2019. Rick and Heather are amazing. I get all my ammo here as well as any other gun needs. Great community of people as well.

I really really wanted to like this place. I love kickboxing and there's not many options for it in the area. So I was all for their cardio kickboxing. Perfect times and location for me too. I went to the class and the instructor was sweet as can be. I've got a little bit of a background with fight training so I was okay with her lack of form training. However, I had two friends with me who had no experience and felt lost. There was little help. It's not really beginner friendly. I would have still pushed for us to use this gym had it not been for the dirtiness. I've never been in a gym this dirty. Kickboxing is often bare foot or socks but walking from the changing room to the class mats was a cringe worthy experience. I'm not sure if the floors are ever cleaned. They're covered in grime. The equipment is also caked in grime. All and all, we ended up not doing more than one class.
