My 11 & 12 year old girls have been taught by the professors and coaches at Komainu for 4 years. I absolutely recommend every parent to have their kids come try out a class. My girls have learned so much about themselves and how to protect themselves and we couldn’t be more grateful. They have also successfully taught many of our law enforcement jiujitsu and I believe every LEO should learn this craft to potentially save their lives. I have many law enforcement friends who attest to this. I highly recommend Komainu Collective.

I joined Komainu Collective three months ago. First time I have join any form of martial arts. The professors, coaches, and other students have been very inviting and helpful. The gym's class schedule has multiple options to fit a busy schedule. The time spent in class is both instructional and live practice, which is so much fun. All the students encourage one another. I would recommend The Komainu Collective BJJ to anyone looking to workout or if you are looking to find a martial arts gym for your children and family.

My boys love being here! We appreciate that their belts are earned.... not given. The professors hold each child accountable, but are as equally patient. We highly recommend Komainu, for all ages, child and adult alike.

Absolutely fantastic, started my 6yr old grandson here about a month ago and we love it. My grandson is very hyper and has a hard time focusing but the instructor's are so patient with him. I'm so happy we found this place if you need a great jujitsu school for your kids i would highly recommend coming here.

Awesome new gym. Great instruction, great location for Spanish Springs residents. So grateful that something finally opened in this area. You won't find a better gym in Reno or Sparks.
