My family absolutely loves being a part of the Uprising MMA gym community. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and that feeling has only grown stronger over time. One of the things we appreciate most is how inclusive the gym is. My wife and daughter attend the dedicated women’s classes that creates a supportive and empowering environment. They offer grappling and striking classes for all ages, gender, and skill levels. There’s truly something for everyone. Luis and his coaching staff go above and beyond, not just teaching technique and discipline, but building confidence and character. They make you feel like family from day one. This isn’t just a place to train, it’s a place where everyone belongs. We’re so grateful to be part of such a positive, motivating, and welcoming community.

This was my first time ever trying jiu jitsu and I honestly had such a great experience. I was a little nervous going in, but everyone was super patient and helpful, especially since I’m brand new. No one made me feel judged or out of place at all. The environment felt really welcoming and supportive, which made it so much easier to learn and have fun. I’m really glad I decided to try it and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for beginners!

Great experience and tons of fun! The coaches are very kind and super knowledgeable. The students are very welcoming and helpful to new students. It’s very much a family and a safe environment for everyone. There is plenty of parking. The facility is clean and organized. They have a wide range of class types, class times and price points. I am very grateful to have this gym so close to home!

I don’t think I’ll ever find the right words to express how much this place means to me. The women’s program is absolutely incredible—and while the price is great, that was never what mattered most to me. What matters is how I feel every single time I walk in, and the energy I leave with when I walk out. The staff is genuinely amazing—warm, welcoming, and supportive. The women who take the class are just as inspiring, from teenagers to strong, beautiful adults. We all come from different backgrounds and experiences, but we share one common goal: to empower ourselves, protect ourselves, and keep doing what we love. I truly wouldn’t be the woman I am today without this place. After going through a lot earlier this year, this program—and the women in it—helped pull me out of a dark space and reminded me of my strength. If you’re considering trying a class, do it. The only regret you’ll have is not showing up for yourself and giving yourself the chance to experience something this life-changing.
