The growth my son has shown since joining this club is unbelievable; from his wrestling abilities to his level of maturity. This club builds men of solid character, which the sport of wrestling is suppose to do! Old school wrestlers traits: honesty, loyalty, determination and the blood sweat and tears to prepare them for challenges in adulthood and the fundamentals of hard work in their future careers. At this school, the older wrestlers (8th grade up) have a brotherhood on & off the mat; they also take the initiate to look after the younger wrestlers, mentoring and the role of the big brother to them. Coach Fil has emphasized that this isn’t just a wrestling club but a family and it’s resonated from the youngest wrestlers to the the older wrestlers. Any given day, you will see these boys off the mat, around town hanging out. Old school values are still alive at Colòn Trained
