I spent years searching for the right martial arts school for my son, Jonem, and I'm grateful Dr. Flynn recommended Shakill's School of Martial Arts! The Wazirs are amazing, supportive, and genuinely care about their students in and outside the dojo. It's truly family-oriented, welcoming, and such a positive environment. We've been very happy here!

My husband and I definitely see the progress my son has made and only after one month. My child is challenged in a nurturing environment and I am grateful for this particular dojo.

This is a great Karate dojo. Two of my kids currently go here after looking at a few others dojos. They’ve been students for over a year and have improved a lot. Shakil’s Warriors is way more organized and structured than other places. The students, parents, and teachers have created a community where everyone is friendly and supportive. I’ve recommended it to all of my friends.

I wanted to personally reach out and thank you for this amazing program you offer. I can say on day 1, I was apprehensive to see my son stunned at the tone, structure, and expectations, THOUGH I knew it was exactly what he needed and the reason I wanted him to join. When he cried, innately I wanted to console him as a mother, but I’m a raising a black son and I appreciate how each instructor talked directly to him to address what he was feeling. But most importantly, you also made sure he understood the process and encouraged him to move past the pain. Though he’s only attend 7 sessions, I can see improvement in his behavior, his confidence, he’s not as whiny, and looks forward to class. I’m a firm believer that representation matters, and my son seeing black man that are instilling discipline, structure, integrity, and respect will surely guide him in the right direction. Thank you once again, I just would be remised if I didn’t acknowledge the outstanding program.
