This Dojo is exceptional. Sensei Dan demonstrates a deep knowledge of martial arts while maintaining a positive and encouraging teaching environment. The facility is clean, classes are well-structured, and every student receives personal attention. I’ve seen tremendous improvement in discipline, confidence, and technique in my daughter. Highly recommended for students of all ages.

The DOJO is an excellent place for martial arts practice. The owner Dan is very friendly, informative and personable. He hosted a beautiful seminar with Roger Wehrhahn, who is the lead instructor of the San Shin Kai federation. There is plenty of space for multiple people to practice safely. The DOJO is spacious, clean, and inviting. The different options of martial arts that you can practice is impressive. Dan is an excellent teacher and takes his time to make sure each and every student learns at a pace that’s comfortable for them. If you’re in the north Jersey region, I highly recommend this for multiple different arts.

Sensei Dan and the art he teaches has left a profound impact on every aspect of my life. My parents enrolling me to their original location in ER at such a young age (I think 8?) was the best decision. Through my years at the dojo I have learned so much, including but not limited to discipline, respect, humility, self defense, etc. Not a day goes by where I don't appreciate Sensei Dan and utilize what I've learned. I'm now 34 years old, and no longer live in New Jersey. I will be looking for a martial arts facility in a different state for my own son. The bar is set so high because of Sensei Dan and I'm afraid I'll be looking for a while! I implore that anyone who is considering karate, especially for their children, to look at TheDOJO. The DOJO has been a beautiful experience. Dan Sensei helped led a very informative and inspiring Iaido Seminar with Roger Shihan. You truly feel the aura of Dan Sensei and his passion of martial arts upon stepping foot in the establishment. I strongly recommend attending any future seminars or taking any one of his classes. You'll not regret it.

My children have been attending classes at the dojo for 4 years, since they were really small. Sensei taught them discipline, listening skills, confidence, and martial arts. My boys love coming to class, being leaders for the younger kids, learning new skills, and having fun. Sensei Dan is great with kids, giving individualized attention, being a role model for the children, showing great values, and gives care to their learning and development. We are sure our kids will continue to learn and grow with the DOJO.
