Members frequently praise the Sifu and instructors for being exceptional and welcoming, creating a supportive environment that helps beginners grow with confidence and discipline. Many describe the gym as a community hub, especially appreciated by those new to Albuquerque. Positive mentions include wonderful cultural performances during Lunar New Year events with dragon dances. However, one negative review describes an unwelcoming trial class experience where a child was turned away for lacking a uniform and the Sifu appeared unfriendly toward children, leading to a disappointing and tearful departure.

All the performances were wonderful. I'm grateful I had the chance to see all the dances. Loved the dragon and the Chinese dogs! I shouldn't be missed.

The school’s Sifu, instructors, and classmates are exceptional and welcoming, creating a supportive environment that helped me grow from a complete beginner in Kung Fu with confidence and discipline. After moving from Germany to Albuquerque, this school became the community I was looking for. Highly recommend and look forward to continuing my growth here!🙏

Dirty. Unprofessional. Disrespectful. Major regret. I regret allowing my daughter do a trial class here. She was so excited to go. I had my elderly god mother take her. They were both so filled with joy and drove a long ways to get there. I called in advance days before securing my daughters trial. Upon arriving, the same elderly woman I spoke to on the phone to schedule everything, informed my daughter she may not be able to attend as she had no uniform. Well of course not! It was her first day. No warm welcome. Just negativity. Then the "Sifu" was not welcoming to my daughter. He did not say hi. Or anything to my daughter. Only greeted my godmother with a basic hello. My daughter stated she could tell he does not like kids, and was curious why he was even teaching. They did not let her attend. The entire experience was awful with my daughter leaving crying. I was so heartbroken when she called. We have never had an experience like this at other martial artist academy's. I recommend considering more family friendly and cleaner options.
