Best gym ive visited in abq :) (Post workout review) more powerlifting focused gym has EVERYTHING catered to it. I am not a powerlifter but was still able to get everything i need for things more my speed without the need to be creative. Amazing gym and great atmosphere.

Love. A low key place where the people seem low ego. Owner even helped me when my car needed a jump. Also the staff was sweet and helpful when I smashed my finger with an 85 lb dumbbell and was bleeding everywhere! I’m a fan.

This review is for the fat folks lol I hate working out so so much…usually. I train with Sam who is the most understanding coach I’ve ever worked with. The vibes at this gym are immaculate. The first day there I was sad and embarrassed everybody around me look so fit. I felt like I didn’t fit in. It must’ve been on my face because a pretty buff fit man came up to me and said can I ask you what day of your journey this is? He then proceeded to tell me that he lost over 100 pounds as we talked another very in shape woman standing near him was all I’ve also lost over 120 pounds it’s hard but gets better. Point of the story this gym is amazing and I’m now down 20+ pounds and can lift heavy shit lol 🫶🏽💪🏽

Iron Soul is an excellent powerlifting gym! It's consistently clean, the folks are kind and strong, and the gym has plenty of squat racks, deadlift platforms, and everything else a lifting gym should have. The owner Eric even helped me fill my tire up when I had a flat! I especially want to shout out the Barbell Club with trainers Cassi and Ezra which has helped my lifting immensely. And as a queer person, I feel safe at this gym. Folks don't care what you look like, we're all here to lift. The gym also has a wheelchair accessible entrance!

This gym is absolutely amazing, everyone on staff is wonderful! The facility is very well-maintained, and staff always have the safety of members as top priority. Being a part of The Barbell Club here has allowed the chance to learn how to overcome so many obstacles in life. My coach, Ezra, is fantastic and ensures the environment for our group is supportive and welcoming so that every member can thrive. The owner is amazing as well. We had a whole conversation about favorite bands, and he even shared words of encouragement in passing during one of my group's classes. I can see how much dedication, effort, and time has gone into making this place one of the best gyms in the city and one of the most welcoming places I've had the privilege to learn how to lift in.
