My son Atlas absolutely adores master Dupree and loves coming to class. Master Dupree is patient and understanding of my son’s special needs and is great teaching all ages. If you are looking for a skilled teacher who is kind, respectful and attentive, come here! I will be taking classes as well once my back is healed. Master Dupree accepts anyone age, height, size, weight, etc! 10/10 recommend! My son has severe ADHD and master Dupree is able to work with my son just fine and get him to participate like he doesn’t and is patient with his impulsive tendencies.

I've worked with Master DuPree at the dojang for more than five years (the before times). He is training me in Tang Soo Do as well as Combat Hapkido. I am tall, overweight, a former athlete, and have numerous medical issues with my back, knees and shoulder. Master DuPree has worked to modify expectations while still pushing my training limits. I've found that I've gained confidence as well as skills. I walk differently and find that I sometimes am calmer than I expect in situations because of the training. He understands that I am not able to train as regularly as I would prefer due to my health concerns and has been very accommodating. Master DuPree is also great about pestering you to get you to class. If you give an excuse, he'll look for a work around or a solution so that you can train anyway. The persistence are why I have chose to return to training despite having to take time off for health reasons. I don't think you'll find a more adaptive instructor. I highly recommend this dojang to anyone who is interested in training. His rates are very reasonable and I've only deducted a star due to the facility. It's not the prettiest and there are no formal changing rooms. Sometimes the temperature isn't what you want but you forget all of that once you start training and are able to focus on the particular skills. My son has also been trained by Master DuPree, as another reviewer mentioned, accommodations have made the training possible as Master DuPree is able to work with high needs students (ADHD, anxiety, ED, cognitive variations, and more).
