About

Ardon Sweet Science Gym offers comprehensive training in MMA, boxing, Muay Thai, and kickboxing under the guidance of experienced coaches. Founder Greg Ardon serves as head coach, supported by senior instructors including David Ortiz, Richard Callado, Naim Mehmeti, and Villi Bello, along with instructor Alex Kim. The coaching team emphasizes technique refinement and controlled sparring, creating structured sessions suitable for both beginners and experienced fighters. Members frequently note that coaches like Greg provide excellent Muay Thai instruction while David helps boxers level up their skills. The gym maintains a family style environment built on strong values where everyone helps each other improve regardless of skill level. Many reviews highlight the welcoming atmosphere that feels safe for newcomers while still providing solid training for advanced practitioners. Members appreciate how coaches are attentive, dedicated, and truly care about student progress, with Richard Callado specifically noted for jiu jitsu instruction. I've been coming here for a while now and have really grown in my boxing skills thanks to trainers Greg and David. The gym has a welcoming environment—safe for beginners but also solid for more experienced fighters. Sparring is always controlled, and there's a strong emphasis on refining technique. Greg offers great instruction for Muay Thai, and if you're looking to level up your boxing, David is an excellent coach. Highly recommend.

Everyone helps each other improve from seasoned fighters to complete beginners. This gym doesn’t just make you a better martial artist, it makes you a better person.

Whoever is reading this. You won’t believe the truth about this gym and how disgusting it is! I went here March 2025 and never came back since March. My first few classes here were very nice as I was met with plenty of nice students. During my time in this gym, plenty of instructors were nice and one of them was very rude. Let’s start with the gym and how it is cleaned. The owner of the gym is very cheap and he hardly ever runs the air condition as well as not cleaning the mats properly. Keep in mind that the mat is very dirty and black dust gets under your foot as the owner probably only uses water to clean it (this is how you can get a serious case of fungus or ringworm). To address the absence of not using an air condition (in high degree weather), it is very likely that you can get a heat stroke or a very bad headache from this place. It isn’t always true that you can get a heatstroke from dehydration, but from the actual heat itself. Also, the owner does not spray this place with any air freshener and it smells horrible. I understand that a gym shouldn’t have the best smell but it should be kept neat and not smell like a taco bell bathroom. There are also cracks in the ceiling as it probably has not been renovated since around the time it’s been made. Next let’s talk about the worst class of all. I won’t recommend taking the grappling class because the first time I went, the coach had a very bad attitude and he jokes about the mistakes of other students and making them feel bad. I understand that the gym and coaches have good intentions, but this place is not managed in the right way. The only positives in this gym is probably doing the Muay Thai and Boxing class with the nice coaches and also having people who just started training to be friends with you. But otherwise, this gym needs to be looked at and be better managed in helping their place grow for future students. Lastly, I don’t hold any grudges against this gym or hate anyone in this gym, but this is personal experience and how i saw this gym. So if I offended you, then I am deeply sorry. But I truly thank ASSG for this time in this gym. Best, - John Jam
