Love this black-owned dojo. My son has been going here since he was old enough for little dragons (3 years), and he is 10 now. Great community of parents and instructors who care about the children both in and out of school.

Doing classes with my son is arguably one of the best decisions I made for us. His focus and discipline has sharpened dramatically. There's a class for everyone from small kids to adults and classes where there's a mix of both. In some classes even the senseis join as students and that means a lot to us students to see that even as masters, they are not above joining us as fellow students. I highly recommend this establishment to martial artist of all levels.

Everything great about this community is embodied at this DoJo! Not the average "show daddy what you can do", soft shoe DoJo. This is the real deal. Sensies are serious and have complete control of classes. Students range in age from 3 to adult. Karate Gi is included in tuition and not an additional cost which is really helpful. Weekly sparring for yellow belts and up. Three 1-hour long classes per week which promotes continual learning. My 2 sons have been involved since age 3 & 4!

The Adult classes are intense. I always leave with a sweat. It is a good mixture of traditional and modern training. Kickboxing, sparring, self defense, and traditional karate.
