Champions Martial Arts South Park Slope (7Ave)

My son has been going to Champions for a few months now and absolutely loves it! He is usually a pretty reserved kid, but he really comes out of his shell at Champions. Master Bang and her team are exceptional instructors and really teach the student the skills, discipline and respect. I highly recommend Champions to those who may be interested.

Outstanding experience for our daughter. She's been attending Champions for a couple years and Master Bang and her staff are professional, courteous and extremely supportive. They really know how to motivate and inspire kids and this is an excellent after school choice for your boy or girl. We highly recommend it!

We absolutely love Champions South Park Slope. Our son has been studying at the Dojang for over 3 years , starting when he had just turned 4. He learned basics of mind, body, and eye focus and has since joined black belt club. The price is extremely reasonable for the quality of education they get . Master Bang and the coaches are incredible with the kids, and set a wonderful example of strict discipline while still having fun. Our now 7yo has learned that consistent hard work yields results . He has grown in confidence and ability . I also highly recommend the very affordable birthday parties , parents nights out, and camps . You can’t find a better deal for what Master Bang and her team provide at Champions !

Master Bang and her assistant instructors, Coach Eddie and Coach Melissa, are all pretty darn effortless with their students--kind and playful and fun-loving but still making their expectations (of dedication and effort and respect!) perfectly clear, and sometimes it feels a little bit like magic, how they're able to summon so much focus and patience and effort from so many (varying in age!) kids all at once. It's just a special place, with an obviously positive energy from top to bottom (the teachers, the students, the parents and caregivers ferrying to and fro, etc.). They're excellent communicators, too--plenty of emails providing plenty of heads up about schedules and special events and any changes to the regular calendar, etc. They go out of their way to make sure students and families have what they need to make the classes work for their busy lives (they're very accommodating, offering discounts for siblings and make-up classes when students are out sick, etc.) It's just been a purely positive addition to our son's life, and our own...it's thrilling to watch kids learn so much and have so much fun : )

Champions Martial Arts South Park Slope is a wonderful dojang where my daughter has progressed over the years to achieve 2 black belts. The masters have been very structured in teaching classes focusing on a disciplined approach where the students can accomplish their goals. I would highly recommend Champions for anyone including novices who are looking for a way to find physical activity in a safe and fun environment.
