I truly miss CKO — especially the incredible energy and motivation from Cobe! It was more than just a high-intensity workout — it was an experience that empowered both body and mind. Each class left me feeling stronger, more confident, and ready to take on anything. From learning real self-defense techniques to sweating it out to great music, CKO was a total mind-body boost. Please bring a CKO location to Howard Beach — we need it here! The community would benefit so much from the energy, empowerment, and strength that CKO brings. There’s nothing else like it!

Unpretentious gym with top tier trainers some of whom actually compete themselves and they’re all kind. They train you like you're preparing for a real fight. The result? You’re not just getting in shape, you’re learning how to move with purpose and use your body to your advantage. Most importantly, I did it to invest in my health everything else is an amazing bonus. Just 3 days a week, 50 minute sessions and not only did I shred fat and enhance my physique, but Im also developing a life-changing skill along the way. It’s so worth it for me

A gem of a gym! I started going here in January of 2023 when I first did the intro week. I took a break after, as, to be honest, I tend to take a fairly frugal approach to my working out (always choosing running over joining a gym, etc). I had tried other gyms over the years, and this one definitely stuck with me the most! Fast forward a year and this place hadn’t left my mind. I joined with a year-long membership in February of this year, and haven’t once regretted my decision! I am much more fit than I was when I just stuck to running, and feel even better and stronger with each month that passes of taking these classes. The instructors are incredibly kind and welcoming and are very dedicated to their craft and to teaching. Each instructor brings something new to their classes, so I definitely recommend taking a variety throughout the week. I guarantee you will leave each class having had an amazing workout and feeling incredible! The sense of community at this gym is super unique and unbeatable and I’ve never found another place like it in NYC. The memberships are a great deal as well, since you can go as often as you’d like with an unlimited. Highly recommend checking out CKO Downtown Brooklyn- you won’t regret it!

I almost never write reviews but have to say that CKO Park Slope has radically changed my life for the better. I never thought I could do it, but the instructors and music just gradually make it possible to become really athletic. I started with a week trial, then got drop ins and am now a member. I'm so sad on the days that I can't get to class. But fortunately all the instructors are excellent so there are many class choices throughout the week.

So, I joined for a few months in 2023. When I went in person to cancel, the staff looked me in the eye, told me I was canceled, and said I'd get an email. I trusted them and stopped going. They never sent the email, but they continued to bill me $199/month for over a year (16+ months) after I had left. They can see in their own system that I never swiped in once during that time. I then send at least 4 emails and they never reply. I go in there almost each week after emailing them, and they claim they've canceled it. I then notice they charge me again every month. When I dispute the charges with them, they pointed to a 'fine print' clause saying cancellations must be by email/certified mail only-even though their staff verbally confirmed my cancellation in person. They are saying the only way to cancel is sending a letter. This is fraud. Ironically, when I called them in 2025 to dispute this, they canceled me over the phone immediately, proving their 'written only' policy is just a tactic to keep billing you. I am currently having to file in Small Claims Court to get my money back. Be very careful giving this company your credit card.
