I absolutely love that my kids attend karate here. The instructors are amazing, their style of teaching is unique and they meet the children on their level. I love that the instructors encourage the students to try and give it their best when they are learning new techniques or sparring with one another. They teach children that learning to defend yourself is essential and knowing when and how to react is crucial. My two daughters and youngest son have been with Sensei Kristian and Sensei Katherine since last year and I have seen the confidence in all three of my kids knowing they can defend themselves because they were taught how to. They also have learned to walk away from bullies if the situation does not get physical because although words hurt they can be brushed off. As a mother of four kids and one with autism I admire and appreciate both sensei for their dedication to my son and their patience to show him how to control his anger, anxiety and hyperactivity. The changes in him since he started karate is grand that even his teachers have noticed and he’s now moving into a bigger class setting in school. Sensei Kristian and Sensei Katherine are by far the best instructors I have come across in many years. My kids are so fortunate to be in their class and they are going all the way to black belt just like their mama did in 2007.

Kristian and Katheryn are excellent Martial Arts Sensei instructors for the kids. The kids also view them as another motherly or fatherly-figure for the more support they gave them. They also give excellent recommendations for parents on how they may have their kids prepare for next classes and to show how well-developed they have become as they grow older and potentially becoming more wiser. I used to also work with Sensei Kristian and Sensei Katheryn for the kids, and I really appreciated their help on how to be a good Sensei instructor for kids including but not limited to always be cautious of their needs and to share connections with their interests (i.e. video games). Kristian and Katheryn are excellent Sensei instructors I would strongly recommend for kids in need of discipline and of training!

I recommend this karate dojo! The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and truly passionate about teaching martial arts. The atmosphere is welcoming for students of all ages and skill levels, and the classes are both challenging and fun. I’ve seen tremendous improvement in my child's technique, confidence, and overall fitness since joining. The sense of community here is outstanding—everyone supports each other and celebrates progress together. If you’re looking for a place to learn karate, grow as a person, and make great friends, this dojo is the perfect!

Sensei Kristian and Sensei Katheryn are incredible teachers. They’re not only teaching my son karate, they’re teaching him body awareness, discipline, and perseverance, all at just 5 years old. The best part is that he’s having a blast while learning these important lessons. Both instructors are deeply invested in their students. It’s refreshing to see teachers who expect the best from the kids and encourage them to rise to that challenge, rather than just letting them go through the motions because they’re young. As martial arts enthusiasts ourselves, we’re thrilled to see our son developing real skills and technique, and even more importantly, a love for the practice.

Sensei Kristian and sensei Katheryn are simply the best! My daughter has been taking karate with them for the past three years and she has learned not just karate moves and improved gross motor skills but also self discipline, respect for peers, respect for your parents and teachers as well and leadership and teamwork. Both teachers love what they do and it absolutely shows. They are attentive and their enthusiasm for karate truly rubs off on the kids as well.
