Ace Martial Arts NYC has been such a wonderful experience for my son! He’s gained so much confidence, focus, and discipline since joining. The masters are patient, encouraging, and truly care about every student’s growth — both in Taekwondo and in character. My son always leaves class happy and proud of himself. The environment is positive, safe, and very family-oriented. Highly recommend this dojang to any parent looking for something meaningful for their child!

I can’t say enough good things about Ace Martial Arts. Since my son started learning Taekwondo here, he has gained real confidence, not just in being able to protect himself, but also in showing respect to others. I’ve also seen him grow into someone who encourages his friends and learns how to improve together as a team. The master and instructors are amazing. They pay close attention to the technical details and patiently guide each step, from foot placement to the direction of every movement. Thanks to their careful coaching, my son has been able to perform strong poomsae and even enjoy board breaking with pride. I hope this review helps other parents and kids who are interested in Taekwondo. Ace Martial Arts has been such a positive experience for our family!

We started last month and my four year old loves her taekwondo classes. Master Joon and the other instructors do a great job of teaching and making class fun. The flexibility of classes is also ideal: you don’t have to decide which days you are going ahead of time and you can make up a class. The price is very reasonable. It has been a great experience!

My daughter absolutely loves Ace Martial Arts!! She was recently introduced to Taekwondo, and in such a short time she’s become more confident, motivated, and excited to keep learning. Master Joon is wonderful with kids — patient, encouraging, and genuinely caring. He and the other instructors make every class fun and engaging while still making sure the kids learn the proper foundations and skills. It’s also been a great learning experience for me as a parent, seeing how discipline, confidence, and respect are taught in such a positive way. We’re so happy we found this school and highly recommend it to other families.

I just started training here about a month ago, and I’ll admit, I was hesitant to start Taekwondo in my late 30s. But from my very first class, I realized I wasn’t alone. There are fellow parents my age, and even some students older than me who are just starting out, which is incredibly encouraging. The dojang is spacious, has a welcoming, supportive atmosphere and a great mix of people you can genuinely feel inspired by. The masters are not only highly skilled and knowledgeable, but also kind, patient, and approachable. They take the time to guide you, push you to improve, and make sure you feel comfortable at your own pace. I’m so glad I took the leap. This is a place where beginners of any age can feel motivated, challenged, and part of a community.
