This place is a jewel! Kids from all over the city comes here to wrestle. Keeping the kids off the steets and doing something positive is what this place does. Beat the streets relies only on private donations to operate, so donate a few $$ when you get the chance.

This is an outstanding program for children in the city. I am so happy that my child is involved with this organization. It is very well organized. Our coach is 5 stars- the very best. He goes out of his way to instruct the students how to wrestle, and he is caring and very involved with the program, he keeps me updated and always gets back to me. There are frequent competitions and matches that allow children to compete with other kids in all the 5 boroughs. There are ample opportunities on-site at the school for training and practice (several times during the week). The program reaches out to children of every background and does not cater to just one group. They are super organized, children get uniforms, and there is camaraderie in the group. 💯🏆

An exceptional program for NYC youth. The attention to life skill development is outstanding, and offers enrichment both on and off the wrestling mat. Keep doing what you are doing, BTS NYC!

Please check the YouTube comments once in a while; there are at least a few thousand people, if not more, complaining about the quality of the mats. You cant host a professional free style wrestling match by substituting the mats with slip n slides. If the mat is wet due to climate there, then idk dump salt on the mat or use stickier mats. If this message isn't sent to the appropriate agency then I apologize; please delete my comment and send to the correct agency. Thanks.
