Great time training with this branch of the JKA. I trained with Sensei Joe Vincente on a Tuesday night and was happy with his teaching and showing of techniques. The other karatekas were kind and great classmates during the class. The facility was mostly comfortable to train at just a bit hot but never unbearable. I'd recommend any shotokan student to come train with the JKA NY, especially if you're already a JKA associated practitioner.

I’ve been training at the dojo since August 2017. The teaching is world-class, to say the least. The instructors are dynamic, knowledgeable, and professional. I have been practicing Shotokan karate regularly since 1980, but I learn something in every class. I wholeheartedly recommend the JKA/SKDI.
