My children (aged 5 and 7) have been going here for Judo for about 6 months now. I cannot say enough good things about this place! The technique is good, the classes are fun, and Sensei Zumo is incredibly knowledgeable and skilled at teaching. He has high expectations for the kids, which they work hard to reach. He is loving and strict. I signed up my daughter to help build her confidence and my son to help with discipline. I have seen great strides with both of them after participating in Judo at Samurai.

Sensei Zumo came highly recommended by our friend, Robert. We are very glad we signed up our 12 year old son. Sensei creates a welcoming and respectful environment while maintaining high standards and discipline on the mat. He takes the time to make sure every student understands the fundamentals and improves at their own pace. We highly recommend this school to anyone.

I have been training here for a year together with my children. We have one of us in each level of classes (4-8 year old group, 8-12 and adult class). We all love training here and look forward to class. It has been great for me as well as for my kids. Sensei is tough and caring at the same time.which helps my kids learn but also know that he cares about them and wants them to grow. This has been great for them physically as well as mentally. I highly recommend for adults and children of all ages. We are proud to be part of the Samurai Judo family!

After searching for many spots i can say this one feels like home. Everyone is so friendly and treats you like family. The sensi and his team treat your child as their own which is rare to find. He truly is the best! He helps the kids learn self-confidence and respect, as well as to have faith in themselves. He brung out the confidence in my son that i never knew he had. And i give him a huge thank you for this! You're not missing out just by watching one class you can see the love he has for these kids.
