If you’re looking for something more than just discipline this is the dojo to go to. Ever since I joined this dojo life has been different around me. And mostly it has been for the good I highly recommend this dojo for anybody that’s looking on doing karate, of course by that I mean Traditional Karate. Best dojo in the heights!

A child shall get a firm core karate foundation. Sensei teaches the children starting from the core basics; e.g; making a fist, correct way of standing up, the right way of articulating the words in Japanese. He does not assume or leave things to common sense. He maintains a delicate balance between teaching the youngest kids karate and allowing them to still be children. He communicated the criteria my child needs to meet to get to 10 KYU. It is interesting to watch the break away sessions when the children of a higher rank teach the other children of a lower rank. In my opinion this boosts the confidence of the children.

Etiquette is a lost art in this place. I would invest my money with a better instructor who demonstrates the code of polite behavior instead of banging on neighbors windows with a broom stick to complain about something they themselves have no control of. The instructor knows nothing about being a true martial artist if you ask me. Most martial art systems throughout the world follow similar ethics and rules of etiquette with respect for oneself, others, nature and the arts. This place is a joke.
