I’ve been taking Tai Chi with Mike for over a year. He’s patient and extremely knowledgeable. My balance and strength has improved. I’m very happy with my classes there.

My son went here for 2 years. He loved it in the beginning. He learned balance and discipline, which I really liked. However, they hired new trainers in his second year. I would rush every Wednesday after work to drop my son and they would only play for an hour, no training, no learning anything new. The progress stopped and he found it boring. To be fair, they told us to go on Fridays for advanced class, but that can’t be the only advanced class available. My schedule didn’t allow me to. We went twice a week. My son dreaded going there towards the last six months because it was boring. I guess it’s good for young children to learn balance but not for older children.

Important Note for Prospective Buyers of the Groupon Offer: Please be advised:this program may not be suitable if you are simply looking for your child to try out karate. Dear Bill, Thank you for taking the time to speak with me over the phone. I reached out with the intention of registering my son for an introductory experience in karate. However, during our conversation, I was informed that this is a structured program requiring full commitment, regardless of whether my child enjoys the experience or not. Additionally, I’d like to note that comparing a karate program to Spanish classes based solely on my last name felt inappropriate. If you are looking to draw parallels, I believe comparisons to other youth sports programs like soccer, basketball, or baseball would have been more fitting and respectful.
