Cornelius Jiu-Jitsu Academy

I was visiting from out of town and found Cornelius Jiu Jitsu on Google. They were one of the only gyms offering an early morning class that day. I showed up at 6:30 and was welcomed by the instructor, Josh, who was very friendly. We started with warm-ups, went over some techniques, and finished with rolling. It was a great experience overall. Everyone was welcoming, and Josh was knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. I highly recommend this gym.

I dropped in for a class while visiting from out of town and had a great time and learned some awesome details. Clean mats, welcoming environment, and people of all skill levels. The coaches were knowledgeable and approachable. Will definitely come through again if I’m in town. Oss!

Cornelius Jiu Jitsu has been an incredible experience for our family. We had never tried this before and we were blown away. The coaches are amazing, patient, and really know how to work with young beginners. They offer a free week trial, which gave us a chance to see if it was the right fit with no pressure.They’re flexible, supportive, and great at building confidence. In no time, my kids were learning real skills and loving every class. Highly recommend. Five stars.

Cornelius JJ Academy is phenomenal and has a great culture. Coaches Josh and Brian have a breadth of knowledge that’s easy to grasp. Visiting family for Christmas, my wife and I both enjoyed the experience from initial contact to our time on the mats! If you’re looking to good jiu jitsu in the area, look no further!

I trained combatives in the military about a decade ago. Cornelius Jiu-Jitsu was my first time rolling since then. This place is awesome for those looking to get started in BJJ. Everyone is super down to earth and willing to show you moves and techniques as you get acquainted with the sport. Very chill and welcoming atmosphere.
